Beautiful and early Ormolu clock by Raingo Frères and Henri Picard from Paris
~ French - Circa 1850 ~
A fine and early Ormolu (mercury gilt bronze) boudoir clock. The dial is also gilded with 12 individual enamel cartouches and original blued steel hands. Case is marked with the timepiece's serial number, along with Henri Picard's founder's mark. The French timepiece is by Raingo Frères and is of high quality. Early version with an outer hammer stop.
Globe in glass back was replaced but is not shown in photo!
